Safe Harbour is a mechanism that, in the case of certain financial or low-value-added transactions between related parties, will protect taxpayers from transfer pricing being challenged by tax authorities.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE SAFE HARBOUR VERIFIER?
This tool allows to verify whether the statutory conditions for the application of the Safe Harbour mechanism have been met.
In the case of a positive result of the analysis, the taxpayer is assured that the audit authorities will not question the prices assumed for the given transaction and, consequently, the tax authorities will waive the determination of his income (loss) in terms of the amount of the markup on the cost of low-value-added services or the amount of interest in certain financial transactions.
Our verifier serves as an initial verification of the applicability of the Safe Harbour mechanism in accordance with regulations effective as of 2019.
